FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Attention Property Owners, Check Out the New Maui County Film Office Website

WAILUKU, Maui, Hawai`i – The Maui County Film Office is sending out a casting call to all property and business owners on Maui, Molokai and Lanai.

Could your backyard double as a jungle in Vietnam? Is your grandmother's spooky old house the spitting image of the one from the Amityville Horror? Do you have beautiful beachfront property that looks like . . . well, beautiful beachfront property?

If you do, make sure to list your property on the brand new Maui County Film Office webpage!!!

Location scouts will be able to view the listing of available film locations in Maui County from around the world. If your property is chosen you could collect location fees for movie and television productions!

Just go online and log on to http://www.filmmaui.com/ hit "Locations" and go to "Upload Locations." Once there you will be able to upload digital images of your property along with your contact information.

"We promised that we would promote and stimulate the film industry here in Maui County and this is an important step," said Mayor Alan Arakawa. "This comprehensive database of crews, support services and locations is key, so let's show off the beauty and diversity of our islands by filling up our online library."

For more information call Maui County Film Commissioner Harry Donenfeld at 270-8237.
