The Isle of Maui is blessed
with one of most ideal climates in the world. When
you watch or listen to our local weather reports
they are borderline redundant everyday! Reports
range from sunny & warm usually in the 78 - 85
degree's area to sunny & warm with occasional
rain in the mountain area's usually in the morning
or evening periods. The winds blow in a
predominately Northeasterly direction which we
call "Trade Winds".
We do however get an occasional
storm passing through, which is fine with us, the rain
helps keep our paradise green & our agriculture
fruitful. Here we have a saying, " Without Rain,
There is no Rainbows", and Maui has one almost
everyday!
The majority of the island is
warm, in the 78-85 degree area. Sunny is usually
in the West and South sides, but can be found on
all sides of the island. If cooler climates is
what you are looking for, then Upcountry, on the
slopes of the Haleakala Crater is your best bet,
which can range from 60 degrees at the summit of the
crater, to a comfortable 75-80 on the lower slopes.
