State Tax Incentives
20% Production Income Tax Credits
Maui County has served as
an inspirational backdrop to cinematographers and actors alike. From the summit
of Mount Haleakala, to the cascading waterfalls of Iao Valley, our islands serve
as the perfect muse.
If our majestic playground was not reason enough,
Maui County also offers a comprehensive tax incentive,
20% digital media, motion picture and film production income tax credit. The refundable tax
credit is premised on the production corporation’s Maui County disbursements.
